Mechanical Design Manager – Electrical Panel Design
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to join our growing team!
📍 Location:
💼 Field: Electrical Panel Design (LV/MV Switchgear, Enclosures, etc.)
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical designers and drafters
Oversee the design of electrical panel enclosures, including sheet metal layout, ventilation, and component integration
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (IEC, UL, etc.)
Collaborate with electrical and production teams for optimized design-to-manufacture process
Drive innovation in materials, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiency
🎓 Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
7+ years in mechanical design, with strong experience in electrical panel or enclosure design
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
Leadership and project management skills
Knowledge of thermal management, IP ratings, and structural integrity
