El Salam for Contracting & General Supplying is looking to hire:
-Civil Procurement Engineer
-Job Description:
1-Look for new suppliers and sub-contractors that can support the business need.
2-Update suppliers and Sub-Contractor database briefing Works history, official documents, Qualifications of Human Resources to facilitate selection process.
3-Prepare & submit Quotation Request according to the projects requirements clarifying technical specification, special requirements and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
4-Compare between offers covering the technical and financial aspects to help in selecting the best that can suit the project needs.
5-Handle negotiation with suppliers and sub-contractor through win-win solutions within the company policy for payment and delivery terms.
6-Builds and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors in order to secure long term relation.
7-Follow up works quality for each Sub-Constructor according to the quarter and the semi-annual reports received from the projects and site visits in order to take the appropriate actions towards the inefficient Sub-Contractors.
-Job Requirements:
•Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
•Having experience from 3 to 4 years in the field of construction.
•SAP User is Preferred.
