hiring R&D Lab Chemist role – based in Alexandria.
Main responsibilities:
– React formulations in lab reactors to achieve desired properties and test newly developed R&D products on both water and oil-based drilling fluids using mud testing equipment.
– Ensure the R&D lab and equipment are maintained in an excellent condition.
– Perform quality control tests as per established guidelines.
– Maintain an accurate inventory of R&D samples.
– Keep a comprehensive database of test results.
Job Requirements:
– Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a similar field.
– 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, including 1-2 years in the chemicals or oil and gas industry.
– Experience with polymers, such as emulsion polymers and surfactants, is preferable.
