Job summary/Role description
To prepare the shipping documentation and update the related reporting, in coordination with the Logistics Regional Leader, for the assigned projects.
Duties and responsibilities
Analyze and prepare all the shipping documents and follow up with the competent entity.
Contact the Vendors in order to start the process of the shipment with the selected forwarder.
Instruct the Forwarders to proceed with the booking of the space on the vessel/truck/air/barge.
Prepare the documentation in case of negotiation of the letter of credit.
Prepare the documentation for the management of the insurance claims.
Provide the filling of fiscal documents, verifying the validity of the data on the authorities’ issued documents.
File and check of all the transport documentation, including customs bill of export/entry for fiscal purpose.
Update and/or control the shipping report (transportation cost report, booking in progress, shipping status report).
Person Specification
Experience
7-15 years’ experience in a similar position.
Experience in the Oil C Gas, petrochemical, EPC sectors; main contractor.
