We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Office Architectural Engineer to join our team, a leading contracting company specializing in construction and architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in the technical office field, with a strong background in architecture, project management, and technical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage architectural drawings and technical documentation for ongoing projects.
Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure that project specifications, codes, and quality standards are met.
Provide technical support to the construction site, ensuring all architectural works are carried out in compliance with the design.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and construction details.
Supervise and manage the preparation of as-built drawings and other necessary project documentation.
Monitor the progress of work, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Ensure that all architectural works are in compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
Review contract documents, identify any discrepancies, and resolve any technical issues in collaboration with project managers.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience as a Technical Office Architectural Engineer, preferably in the contracting sector.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design and drafting software.
Experience in preparing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, and the project team.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Experience with project management software is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in managing and leading a technical office team.
Familiarity with 3D modeling and visualization software.
Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices.
